Mr. Galaviz is a founding Partner at Globalysis Ltd, a highly respected Las Vegas, Nevada based boutique strategy consultancy that is exclusively focused on the casino gaming, hotel, airline, and real estate industries within the global travel/leisure sector.
He has consulted on multi-billion dollar leisure real estate developments in markets such as Dubai, Singapore, Korea, and Macau. In addition, Mr. Galaviz is a leading consultant on strategic international joint venture formation in international markets and has successfully advised several Global 1000 organizations on these matters. Jonathan has significant cultural and business expertise that extends to greater China, Thailand, Korea, Macau, Singapore, Dubai, Mexico and Egypt in addition to many others markets.

Mr. Galaviz was a consulting manager with Chicago, Illinois based consultancy Whittman-Hart and advised clients in the investment banking, private equity, and technology industries primarily on strategic new market development. He was later employed with Mandalay Resort Group (now MGM-Mirage) as a Las Vegas, Nevada based Senior Project Analyst within the corporate group focused on strategy and technology initiatives; he left in 2002 to found what would eventually become Globalysis.
During his undergraduate university years, Mr. Galaviz was selected to study as an exchange scholar at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Faculty of Business Administration in 1997. He is a graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute. He appears frequently on BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg TV and is a quoted source for various international news publications as an expert on the global tourism/travel/leisure sectors.
